Here’s my layout about Chocolate. I’m not real fond of the way it turned out but with as busy as I’ve been, it’ll get us through.

Challenge 4
For this challenge we were to each create 2 ATC (artist trading cards) based on the theme of love for one, and about our partner for the other. This was a tricky challenge for both Heather and I as we had never made these before. I think hers turned out fabulous and mine, well, they are alright, lol. I think I’ll stick with scrapping layouts.

Challenge 3
This weeks challenge was really cool. We had to use the selective coloring technique as well as journal at least 20 words about the story our photo tells. I think this turned out to be one of my favorite layouts I’ve ever done.
I used these precious kit called Sweetest Heart by Brandy Designs available at Polka Dot Plum.
My Challenge 1 and 2
I did this layout about her:
And I used this wonderful kit by Sir Scrapalot at Polka Dot plum called Sisters:
And here is my number 2 challenge:
And I used this awesomely awesome kit called turtle love by simply.scraps:
Challenges 1 and 2
Well we are a week or so behind in getting our blog going but this week will be our chance to catch up. I just made it all pretty and I love it!
The first challenge was to create a layout about our partner. I loved working on this because Heather is very important to me and I was able to show her that a bit in my layout. Even though we’ve never met in person I consider her very near and dear to me. Thanks for being my best digi friend and racing buddy Heather! You are a gem.
Oh and I used this fabulous collab by Brandy Designs and Trixe Scraps called Early Birds available at Polka Dot Plum
And Challenge Two was all about the number five. Five pictures, five things we love about the subject of the pictures, and a number five in one of the pictures.
So being as we are a family that loves the All American Game and my oldest son loves to play it, guess what my layouts about? Good guess!!! Baseball!!
For this layout I used a fun kit called Boys Will Be Boys by Just So Scrappy available at Digi Scraps Drive In
